Indietracks workshops and kids’ activities – call for volunteers!

Can you run a workshop at Indietracks Festival, 27-29 July 2018? Or fancy running an activity for under-fives? Submit your application here!

Every year at Indietracks the workshop marquee provides a space for festival-goers, their friends and families to take time out from watching bands to participate in hands-on creative arts, crafts, music making and other fun activities and games! In previous years, workshops have included band Q and A’s, cupcake decorating, ukelele playing, fanzine making, sewing, puppet making, cheerleading, Lego movie-making, and Lindy Hop dancing!

We are inviting proposals for 1-2 hour workshops for our 2018 festival, so if you’ve got an idea for a fun, home-grown and quirky workshop, or a skill you’d like to impart to others, please get in touch. The more creative and fun, the better!

Kids’ areas

This year, in addition to the workshop marquee, Indietracks will host IndieKids, a new drop-in craft and messy play area, as well as IndieTots, a soft play area aimed at under-fives which will also provide tea and refreshments. This area will also host discos for kids of all ages in the early evening!

We’re currently looking for daytime activities aimed at under-fives for this area, such as story-telling and sing-alongs, so if you fancy leading an activity then do apply!

How to apply

Submit your application here. The deadline is 6 April 2018, and we will be in touch shortly after to confirm whether your application has been successful or not. We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
