Festival site and facilities

Indietracks Festival takes place in the Midland Railway Centre. Please note that not all of our paths are surfaced and the terrain can be bumpy for wheelchair users. We strongly recommend that visually impaired persons are accompanied for safety reasons.

Disabled toilets are available in the station yard at Butterley, in Swanwick Junction Station and close to Johnson’s Buffet at Swanwick Junction.

To find the nearest Changing Places toilet, please visit and use our postcode: DE5 3QZ to search.

The main outdoor stage (on a sloping grassy area) can be accessed by a level gravel path, although the terrain can be bumpy for wheelchair users.

The indoor shed stage can be accessed from a level gravel path, although the terrain can be bumpy for wheelchair users.

The church stage has seating (open bench pews) and visitors with disabilities will be granted access ahead of other festival-goers.

There is level access between the platforms at Swanwick Junction. Please ask the guard or another member of staff for assistance when using this crossing.

A limited area will be reserved for viewing the two main stages and the church stage. Unfortunately we are not able to reserve an area in the train stage.
